Roger Goulart

Located in the town of Sant Esteve Ses Rovires, in the Alt Penedès region, Roger Goulart was born in an area where vineyards are the main crop. It has a winery that is protected and listed as a site of historical and cultural interest, a modernist building designed by architect Ignasi Mas i Morell, commissioned by the Canals and Nubiola family, with construction completed in 1919. In its century-old cellars, dug 30 meters underground, fine-bubbled sparkling wines are produced using the traditional winemaking method. “We are in the heart of the village, in the old style, and we want to stay that way,” says Pedro Muñoz, winemaker at Roger Goulart.
