In 1918, the Santacana family, one of the most distinguished families in the Penedès, began their journey into the fascinating world of wine. Years of deep dedication to the land and winemaking have made them one of the most respected names in the wine sector of the Alt Penedès region. On October 8, 1992, the winery’s expansion was inaugurated, ensuring the continuity of an ancient, demanding, artisanal viticulture that is deeply respectful and committed to the environment and nature. Every day, it works to ensure that Montesquius remains a benchmark for cavas and wines.
