The Escudero family began its winemaking activity in 1852. From the knowledge accumulated and passed on by his ancestors, in the early 1950s, the first caves in La Rioja were produced, with a markedly artisan character, by Benito Escudero, the father of the current generation of winemakers.
Respect for the environment, research, professionalism in all areas of the company and the maxim of offering the customer not only an excellent product, but also an optimum service, are the cornerstones on which the activity and personality of the Escudero family are based.
